Is Raw Air Moving To Amazon Prime?

Our Today's top story looks at the potential of Raw airing on Amazon Prime. Raw's media rights are expiring this year and potential names have surfaced on where Raw could air. The latest report from John Ourland of  Sports Business Journal reveals that Raw could air on Amazon Prime. John predicts that Amazon Prime will acquire the media rights to air Monday Night Raw. Ourland noted:

                                                                                                                                                  "  Amazon gets " WWE Raw " rights and keeps the series on Monday nights. This hits an audience of young males, a demo where Amazon believes it sees growth in Prime subscriptions. Plus, it gives the company another night of live video programming on Prime Video."

Matt Riddle Comments On A WWE Superstar:

                                                                               Former WWE superstar Matt Riddle claims that he " believes " he was told he would be winning The 2022 Men's Rumble. Riddle claims that Lesnar went into business for himself. He said:

                                                     So I believe-you know, it's sports entertainment-that I was told at one point, yeah, I was gonna win The (Royal) Rumble and everything else and then what was it? Bobby Lashley beat Brock Lesnar because somebody came in and hit him with the belt or what you have. Then Brock came in, didn't wanna do business with everybody, said he was winning, and then he won, and then none of the producers...nobody stood up to him and they let him do it. I didn't either, I didn't either. I am like f**k man, I am just here. "

He also claimed that he was supposed to win The Men's Money In The Bank 2022 Ladder Match but Vince changed the decision hours before the match and Theory won that ladder match.

Dolph Ziggler's NJPW Match Announced: 

                                                                        Dolph Ziggler will have his NJPW debut against Finlay for the IWGP Global championship at the new beginning in the Sapporo show on February 23rd. Ziggler was released in September and will wrestle under the name of Nic Nemeth. Nemeth had an angle with Finlay at Wrestle Kingdom 18, which led to this match.

 AEW Hires A Former WWE Name:

                                                               AEW has hired a former WWE name after several backstage people including QT Marshall, Rafael Morffi, and Dana Massie leaving their behind-the-scenes roles. Fightful has reported that Kosha Irby will be joining the company and could potentially become the COO.

L.A Knight Thought That He Was Going To Get Fired:

                                                                                             L.A Knight thought that he was going to get fired when he was Max Dupri. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet Knight said:
                                                                                                                                 " I was very unhappy. Then at some point, it was just like, all of a sudden I am not on TV and I'm like, well, I'm pretty sure I am fired. I'm pretty sure this whole ride is over. At that point, I'm looking at other options in what I can do and where can I go...."

Raw Recap And Top Stories: Recap Of Monday Night Raw: - The January 8th edition of Raw kicked off with the started with Cody Rhodes backstage. - Then the camera cut into the ring with Drew standing. He called out Punk and both of them had a fire exchange of words between them. Drew told him that he knew who he was and reminded him of his past.
