Original plans for Roman Reigns revealed:

                                                                         Original plans for the undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns were revealed today. This Friday, after inference from Reigns in the number contender match, it was told by Nick Aldis to Paul Heyman that Roman will now defend his belt in a triple threat at The Royal Rumble. However, this was not the original plan. The original plan was to have a one-on-one match between Reigns and Orton. Today Meltzer reported:

                                                                                                                           " The original idea was Roman and Randy Orton for The Rumble.

                                                                  Essentially there were parties involved who did not want to beat Randy Orton this early and just feel there is money to be made with Randy Orton and Roman in a program at some point, but it's too soon to do it. "    (WOR)

- Backstage feeling on WWE's partnership with AJPW:

                                                                                               WWE and NJPW had a promotional match recently and more details have emerged on how the feeling is backstage.

As per Wrestling Observer Radio's  Dave Meltzer WWE and AJPW have an ongoing deal with one another. He said that some people in AJPW have "mixed feelings" about the partnership. Meltzer said:                                                                                                                                                                        " I was told it's an ongoing thing. Although there's certainly people in All Japan who have mixed feelings on it, but the president of All Japan and WWE (have) got a deal going on right now."

- WWE files a new trademark:

                                                    Per USTPO, WWE has filed for a new trademark today. Yesterday on January 7th, WWE filed an application to trade the term 'FINAL TESTAMENT'. It has been speculated that this term could be the new name of Karrion Kross' new faction or could be the name of his finisher. Some fans have also speculated that it could be a new PLE name. - New WWE cover: 

                                  Today WWE updated their 'Superstars' banner. The banner had a change. Bayley was added to the banner while the injured Charlotte Flair has been removed. Flairs has suffered tears in her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Bayley is also rumored to win the women's Rumble. Could it be an indication that she is going to win the Rumble? Let me know in the comments.

- Could Undertaker wrestle again?:

                                                           On the latest episode of "Monday Mailbag", Chioda noted that Undertaker appears to be in great shape following his surgery and could wrestle one more match. Chioda said:

                                                                                                                                             " I think he's got one more match in him, but please make him go over. Don't do the match unless you're going over dead man. F**k building anyone else up. Let them work on their own building themselves up. I hope he does do one more. I could see him doing one more match."
