How The WWE Could Book The Rock:

The Rock returned to the WWE on the January 1st edition of Raw. Since returning he has made headlines as he teased a match with his cousin and the current undisputed WWE Universal champion, Roman Reigns. Now the fans have started speculating on when will this match take place, whether they will book it for Elimination Chamber or for WrestleMania 40. Another question the fans have been asking is whether Cody gets to finish his story. There are many possibilities for how WWE could book The Rock. Let us look at some of them:

1. Roman Reigns vs The Rock at Elimination Chamber:

WWE could book The Rock vs Reigns at Elimination Chamber which is in Australia. The local government has asked the company to book The Rock at Chamber. The Rock could wrestle against Reigns in front of 70,000 people. It will give the fans to witness this once-in-a-lifetime match and still, they get to see Reigns vs Rhodes II, where Rhodes could finally finish his story. 

2. Roman Reigns vs The Rock at Mania 40 ( without the championship ):

There is no doubt that this match is a certified dream match, with or without the championship. The company could book Reigns vs Rhodes II at Chamber where Cody defeats Reigns and finishes his story in front of 70,000 people and could wrestle his former Legacy mate Randy Orton at Mania 40, whereas Reigns could wrestle The Rock at Mania. This match could happen without the championship as they could tell a compelling storyline without it, and would still please the fans. But what if the championship is added to the match? We shall look into this possibility next.

3. Roman Reigns vs The Rock at Mania 40 ( with the championship ):

The Rock mentioned it in his promo " Should I sit at the head of the table? " As we all know because of the championship, Roman calls himself  " The Head Of The Table ", and also " The Tribal Cheif ". If Roman doesn't have that championship then why would he be called " The Head Of The Table ". They could tell a very good storyline with the championship, and Roman would add another legend to his list of people, he defeated during his historic title reign. The issue that comes with this booking is that Cody would have to wait another full year. They could easily stretch Roman's reign with the betrayal of Solo which could be booked throughout the summer but fans may not accept the fact that Roman's title reign is going to be for another year. This booking could face some backlash.

4. The Rock vs Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber:

The Rock could face Cody at the chamber, with the winner getting a shot at Roman. They could have Cody win this match and let him finish his story at Mania 40, but the company knows that with the Rock's busy schedule, they might not get a chance to book the dream match between Reigns and The Rock. So they might not go with this booking option.

5. Roman Reigns vs The Rock vs Cody Rhodes:

The company could repeat what they did 10 years ago at Mania 30 when they booked Bryan, Orton, and Batista in a triple threat due to fan backlash. Cody and Reigns could work most of the match and The Rock could wrestle less, but the issue that comprises with this booking is that Reigns vs The Rock is a once-in-a-lifetime match and should be booked one-on-one.
